Roger Federer played in 23 consecutive semi-finals in Grand Slams. That is an amazing record. But yesterday Swedish Robin Soderling ended this remarkable run at the French Open by defeating the Swiss Ace in the quarter finals. It also means that Federer may lose his number one spot before breaking Pete Sampras's record of 286 weeks at the number one spot. Soderling beat Nadal last year, but did not want to celebrate too much. The cool Swede said: "I always believe that I can win." I believe he can win too.
